Castel Gandolfo from our album “the Grand Design” appeared on the album “New Species 1” by The Classic Rock Society.
The CD will be included as a free bonus cd in the new available issues of IO Pages (Holland), Prog-resiste (Belgium), Colossus (Finland), Acid Dragon (France), Highlands (France) and subscription copies of Fireworks Magazine (UK).
And also in orders despatched by the online retailers Progrock.co.uk (UK), Just for Kicks (Germany) and Marquee (Japan).

Day Six announces new bass player.

We are very happy to welcome our new bass player Eric Smits.
With this new line-up we already played a show at the Summer’s End festival in Lydney (UK) and it went pretty well : )! Man….what a great responds from the audience!
We’re really looking forward to keep working on new material and of course do lots and lots of shows!

Nick has decided to leave Day Six

After almost 12 years, bass player Nick Verstappen unfortunately leaves Day Six.
Due to personal reasons Nick has decided to no longer be part of the band.
Although we truly regret it, we do respect his decision.
We thank Nick for the twelve years of great musicianship and wish him all the best, as well musically as personally!

And now?

Almost a week later we received an invitation to come over to the United Kingdom to play at the Summer’s End Festival along with Arena, the Tangent, Casual Silence and Vertigo on October 8^th.
Awesome of course, but a bit difficult without a bass player! Luckily Eric Smits (Casual Silence) will be joining us on that show and who knows for the rest of the future!
